Hey guys, I have two questions. One is that a while ago I asked you guys how to contact my spirit guides and I got an answer. I started doing that. Since then I haven't gotten a name but have weird feelings of someone here or behind me sometimes. Creeps me out a little but I dont feel any negativity from it. What do you think. Also, when asking for your SG do you think its possible that something else would answer instead? Lastly, I was reading the Ouija board posts. Scary.... I am a fan of horror but I had some really crazy personal experiences as a child and I didn't need a board. They just happened. So my question with this ties in with the earlier one. Do you guys think there are evil or malevolent spirits that will harm you or are there just spirits who play mischievously and scare a little, etc..... When you said that the person was playing with something they weren't supposed to, do you think that was evil or just something older and not understood? I always take precautions to protect my home but I am not sure about whats really out there. Whatever the case, I want to know if I am really experiencing a visitation or just my imagination. Any suggestions. Oh, by the by I just wanted to say to R and H. You girls are very cool, open, honest, etc and I have to admit when I first joined I thought that the site would be a bunch of teeny boppers who were just having fun but upon knowing you a little more, I see that I was wrong and that you both are very knowledgeable and correct. Thanks for the realness.

It is very possible that your spirit guide is watching and hanging around. It very well could be that that is what you are feeling.

When dealing with the spirits I play by one hard and fast rule... Always come from an attitude of respect. These are your ancestors at some point or another. You deal with your living ancestors with respect, the dead ones want the same consideration.

I am much less inclined to believe in "evil". In my oppinion there are things out there that just don't think like we do, and through misunderstanding we have labeled them as "evil". It's not that the mean us harm but they just don't care how things might affect us. When I run up against something like this I go through a series of steps that are designed to bring understanding rather than fear. Starting with a reminder that they have no power over me, and I don't desire power over them. Help, maybe, but not domination. I also draw my own power and presence around me like a cloak. There is a difference between fear and respect, and I don't deal with any spirit from an attiude of fear.

H and R, thanks both for the answers. Yes April you did sum up a ton and I am glad you feel that way. It helps me to understand a lot better. I need to stop watching horror flicks. I know they are mostly based on foolishness but still they do have a way of planting seeds of silliness also. Anyway, like I said, I dont feel any animosity and I do have pretty good senses so whatever is going on I will wait for further communication and then I will go from there. Oh and BTW... Don't stop watching horror flicks, Just remember that they are silliness. I watch them quite frequently and enjoy them. Particularly the ones based in Asian mythology. It's a great way to get an understanding of a different culture or group of people you may not otherwise be exposed to. But that goes for reading too.

That's another reason why I had asked if somebody read the Dan Brown book 'the Symbols'. I know it is a novel and 'fiction' but the research is amazingly full of info on the mystism. Very informative....
