All this technology to speed up the process. Centuries ago one had to take a couple decades out of their life to study at the feet of a master. Now we seek to achieve the same results by plugging into a program paid for in "three easy payments of $99.99!"
I'm all for diversity of training and there isn't enough time to do that the old fashioned way. Technology was supposed to make our lives easier. I miss the pre-technology pace of life. However, every time I try to slow down and just take it all in I see my to-do list (or someone yells "Mommmmmmmmm"

and I'm back to the post-technology crazy pace.
Hm. I think I'm seeing why I haven't found time to meditate lately. This is a good argument for finding a teacher with a quiet place already set up and then scheduling the time to be there. Oh, that's right, back to the problem of "$99.99."
