Find Your Balance Number
Life is all about balance. Finding one’s balance or center provides stability in one’s life. In Numerology there is what we call a Balance number. A Balance Number in Numerology provides us with guidance on how to deal with difficult situations that we will encounter in life.

By adding the numerical value of the initials of your full birth name, you will get your Balance Number. For example, John Michael Smith has the initials of J, M and S. Its equivalent core numbers are 1, 4, and 1. Add these numbers and reduce it, if applicable, to a single digit number (1 + 4 + 4 = 9). The Balance Number then is 9. In finding your Balance Number, sums that results to one of the master numbers, the numbers 11 and 22, are reduced to a single digit number.

Although the Balance Number is considered to have minor influence out of all the representations in Numerology, it can be an integral part of your life particularly if you are experiencing a great deal of turmoil. However, the Balance Number is not the answer or solution to any problem you might be facing. It is just a guideline of what you can do. It will also give you helpful ideas on how to deal with obstacles. It is said that the Balance Number’s powers manifest itself only if you are out of balance or in turmoil for whatever reason.

Your Balance Number together with the other representations in Numerology will help you develop a better you.

Numerology Question
written by Terrin, November 08, 2008
Is there a difference in mainstream numerology and occult numerology? I have read many different ideals lately. The one thing that I see that seems to be different, depending upon who you are speaking to, is that one says you must use your full birth name. Others say First name, some say first and last. For people who have been adopted, the name they were born with is not what is on their birth cert. One example I came across lately was a man who was adopted at 1 month of age. He has no idea what his name would have been at birth, only that which his adoptive parents gave him. Another was a girl who's mother remarried when she was very young and the step father adopted her and they had her birth certificate changed to his name. She does not know what her original birth certificate said for a last name, so how accurate would either of these reports be?
